As the weather cools off, we start craving heavier food. Yet, don’t let that be an excuse to fall off the ban wagon. Below is a seasonal recipe you won’t have to feel guilty about.

Pumpkin Spice Smoothie:

½ cup pumpkin purée (from a can is fine)

1 cup sweetened almond milk

½ tsp nutmeg

½ tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp cinnamon

2 packets stevia sugar (or splenda)

1 scoop vanilla protein

Blend all ingredients together. Add ice if desired.

–       225 calories

–       12 g of fiber

–       18.5 g of protein
