10 Most Underrated Products at Whole Foods
Whole Foods has plenty of popular healthy staples, but some of its best products don’t get nearly enough attention. From easy breakfasts and kid-friendly favorites to better snacks and frozen foods, these are 10 underrated Whole Foods finds worth adding to your cart.

As always, selection can vary by location, so check your local store!
1. One Mighty Mill Bagels 🥯
It’s surprisingly hard to find a bagel with high-quality ingredients that also delivers on flavor and texture—but One Mighty Mill nails it.
Their bagels are made with stone-milled organic flour and have the chewy texture you want from a good bagel. Toast one and top it with cream cheese, eggs or avocado for an easy breakfast. This is a definite buy!
2. Rise & Puff Organic Tortillas 🌯
These wraps are thin, flaky and taste much closer to a restaurant-style flour tortilla than most healthier options.
Rise & Puff Organic Tortillas are made with just four main ingredients: organic flour, water, organic avocado oil and sea salt. Warm them in a pan for about a minute and use them for breakfast wraps, quesadillas, tacos or easy lunches.
3. Zën Organic Coconut Pudding 🍫
If you’re looking for a better sweet treat, Zën Coconut Pudding is such a good find.
It has a rich, creamy texture and is made with ingredients like organic coconut cream, organic cane sugar and organic cocoa or vanilla flavor, depending on the variety. I also love that it comes in a glass jar. Sign me up!
4. Jesse & Ben’s Beef Tallow French Fries 🍟
If there’s one product that keeps me coming back every week, it’s Jesse & Ben’s Tallow & Sea Salt Fries.
The ingredient list couldn’t be simpler: potatoes, grass-fed beef tallow and sea salt. That’s it! They become perfectly crispy in the air fryer and make an easy side for burgers, grilled chicken or a quick family dinner.
5. Siete Maíz Corn Tortilla Chips 🌽
Do yourself a favor and try Siete’s Maíz Corn Tortilla Chips. In my opinion, the corn flavor and crunch are so much better than their original grain-free chips.
They’re made with nixtamalized organic corn, avocado oil and sea salt. They’re delicious on their own and sturdy enough for salsa, guacamole or your favorite dip.
6. Firehook Organic Crackers 🫓
Firehook crackers are the crunchy, high-quality crackers you’ve been missing.
The Classic Sea Salt variety is made with organic wheat flour, organic honey, yeast, salt and organic olive oil. Pair them with raw cheddar, hummus or your favorite dip, or add them to a charcuterie board.
7. Evergreen Frozen Waffles 🧇
Evergreen makes some of my favorite better-for-you frozen waffles, especially for kids.
They’re made with whole-wheat flour, avocado oil, real fruits and vegetables, eggs and maple syrup instead of the refined flour, seed oils and artificial flavors found in many conventional frozen waffles.
Just heat them up and add fruit, Greek yogurt or nut butter for an easy breakfast.
8. Organic Valley Raw Sharp Cheddar 🧀
You can absolutely eat cheese as part of a healthy diet—you just have to know which brands to buy.
Organic Valley Raw Sharp Cheddar has a simple ingredient list: organic cultured unpasteurized milk, salt and vegetarian enzymes. It has a delicious sharp flavor that works on sandwiches, eggs, burgers or snack plates.
9. Better Hot Dogs 🌭
Hot dogs can vary dramatically in quality, but Whole Foods carries several better options made with grass-fed beef and straightforward ingredients.
A few brands to look for include:
- True Story Organic Grass-Fed Beef Hot Dogs
- Teton Waters Ranch Grass-Fed Beef Hot Dogs
- Applegate Organic Grass-Fed Beef Hot Dogs
These options are made without fillers and are convenient for grilling, quick lunches or easy family dinners. Always check the exact package because ingredients can vary between varieties.
10. Primal Kitchen Dipping Sauces 🍗
Primal Kitchen’s dipping sauces are an easy condiment upgrade.
They’re made with avocado oil instead of soybean or canola oil and come in fun, restaurant-inspired flavors like Special Sauce, Chicken Dippin’, Avocado Lime and Yum Yum Sauce.
Use them with chicken tenders, burgers, fries, roasted vegetables or wraps.
Final Thoughts
Whole Foods can be expensive, so I focus on products that offer something I can’t easily find at a conventional grocery store—whether that’s better ingredients, a delicious healthier swap or simply a convenient option my entire family will eat.
These 10 underrated finds check all of those boxes and are absolutely worth looking for during your next Whole Foods run!
