There are so many temptations in this world – why not set yourself up for success? Meal prepping my food all on Sunday allows me to stay on track during the week and assure that no excuses get in my way! Check out this week’s meal prep.

Here’s what’s pictured above:

Proteins: soft boiled eggs, everything spicy Flavorgod seasoned chicken, Thai chicken and salmon
Protein powders: Shakeology & Vega Performance protein (not shown)
Veggies: raw baby carrots, sautéed Trader Joe’s veggie mix, sautéed Brussel sprouts & mushrooms, baked asparagus, and cucumber, bell pepper salad
Carbs: lentils, chickpea & corn salad, edamame and oatmeal (not shown)
Fruit: grapes and apples (not shown)
Healthy fats: avocados
Seeds/oils: balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Drinks: kombucha (count as yellow on fix)

Think of all the healthy combinations you could have if you prepped this in advance! This is what my shopping cart looked like before I got to business.

Trader Joe is my jam! Note: I still had some healthy goodies missing at this point in my shopping cart.

Here’s one of my plate combinations.

Baked chicken, asparagus, sautéed Brussel sprouts & mushrooms, cucumber bell pepper salad and chickpea, corn salad make for the perfect lunch combination! Fix containers: 1 red, 2+ green, 1 yellow, 2 tsp.

Lemon Garlic Sauce for 5 Chicken Breasts:
Olive oil
3 cloves raw garlic
Fresh lemon juice
Sea Salt
Fresh chopped basil
Everything Spicy @Flavorgod Seasoning

Make sure you cover the chicken with aluminum foil when you bake so it will keep all the moisture!

Check out another one of my combinations.

I absolutely love the combination of Tahini chicken, asparagus, Brussel sprouts & mushrooms, baby carrots and sautéed vegetable melody. You can’t go wrong when you eat food that makes you feel good! Fix containers: 2 red, 2+ green, 3 tsp.

Tahini Sauce for 5-6 Chicken Breasts:
1 cup Organic Tahini sesame seed paste (made from light colored seeds)
3/4 cup lukewarm water, or more for consistency
3 cloves raw garlic (or 5 cloves roasted garlic)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt
2 tsp fresh parsley, minced

I hope you find this post helpful!

Q: Where do you get the black containers?

A: Click here to buy the same containers from amazon.

Q: Do you get bored of eating the same thing every day?

A: No at all! I switch it up on a weekly basis and choose my healthy favorites that I don’t mind eating often. I also add different seasonings to keep things interesting.

Q: Do you pre-cook all your food at the beginning of the week or do you just cut it up and package it? Does the food stay fresh all week?

A: I personally like to pre-cook all my food! I keep it properly refrigerated and find that it stays fresh up to 5 days. If you prefer, you can totally freeze the last 2 days or cook 2-3 days at a time.

Q: Can you put any of these meals in the freezer?

A: I personally don’t but I know people who do but just remember to thaw it in time.
